Young at Art is an annual celebration of the national program recognizing Youth Art Month, which officially takes place the month of March. Young at Art is a public testimony to the value of the arts in education. Every year Eric Rood Administration Center personnel express great joy in this large exhibition of student work.
Artwork will be displayed at the Eric Rood Administration Center March 1 – May 1, 2026
Installation of student artwork will take place between February 26th – 27th only from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 pm. NOTE: Hanging of artwork cannot take place on Tuesdays. Space is available on a first-come basis. No space is reserved. Space is available on wall panels in the upstairs landing and on the walls of the second-floor hallways.
All Nevada County Art Teachers (Elementary through High School) are invited to bring students’ exemplary work to show at the Rood Center from March – May.
A variety of visual arts are showcased. Below is a look at the art presented at the 2026 showcase. The art exhibit will be open for viewing March 1 – May 1, 2026, at the County of Nevada, Rood Center in Nevada City.
