Extended School Year (ESY) Program 

Extended School Year is our popular summer program run by our Special Education Department for 19 days after the close of the school year. It’s a fun and rewarding program in which educators can work alongside our talented Special Education staff to support students with special needs.

If you are looking for a fun and challenging opportunity to earn some extra money while supporting our incredible students, this is a great program to work for!

Program Dates:  June 14th – July 13th (no work on July 4th or July 5th)

Paid training day: June 14 8:30 – 3:00

Program hours: 8:30 – 12:30

  • Para’s will work approximately 8:15 – 12:45
  • Teachers and Service Providers will work approximately 8:00 – 1:00

ESY Teacher for Deaf & Hard of Hearing

ESY Adapted PE Teacher

ESY Teacher for the Orthopedically Impaired– Working 5 hours per day (8 am – 1pm).  Salary placement depends on experience and ranges from $40.63/hr (Step 1) – $53.04/hr (Step 9)

ESY Special Education Teacher-Special Education Credential preferred, but not required!  We encourage anyone with a California teaching credential or Substitute Permit to apply!

ESY Occupational Therapist

ESY Paraeducator-Working 4.5 hours per day (8:15 am – 1:15 pm).  Salary placement depends on experience and ranges from $17.45/hr (Step 1) – $22.31/hr (Step 6)

ESY Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Working 5 hours per day (8am – 1pm).  Salary placement depends on experience and ranges from $41.79/hr (Step 1) – $54.97/hr (Step 9)
