Access to Meals for Children 2021-22 School Year

Effective September 1, 2020 The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved a nationwide waiver to support access to meals for children while minimizing potential exposure to COVID-19.

The  Nevada Joint Union High School District (NJUHSD) Food & Nutrition  Services  (FNS)  program will provide  an  opportunity  for  families  to  drive  through  and  pick  up  meals  for  the  children  18 and under
in  their family.

Please  stay  in  your  car  and  meals  will be passed to you.

This  program  will  be  solely  for  the  pick  up  of  meals  and  meals  will  not  be  consumed  on site. We encourage  families  to  continue  to  be  proactive  in  reducing  the  risk  of  COVID-19  by not congregating  at  the  school  site  once  meals  have  been  distributed,  continue  to  wash  your hands often,  continue to exercise social distancing,  and  stay  home  if  you  are  sick.
